The 618 Football IHSA Football Playoff Pick 'Em Challenge is a Prediction contest that lets the fans see how well they can pick the winners of the playoff brackets.  This site in no way associated as part of the IHSA.  This is just a contest for fun.  For IHSA information, visit www.ihsa.org

The grand prize is an Apple iPod Touch!  A $300 value.  This thing is pretty much the iPhone, without the phone.  You will get it after all of the rounds are over and it will be after Thanksgiving, but before Christmas so if you want one for yourself for Christmas, or your kid wants one, WIN IT!  I will post the winner and contact the person but any unclaimed prize after New Year will go to the next person with the next highest score.

How the IHSA Football Playoff PIck'em Contest at www.618football. com will work!  

• Week 1:  I selected half of the games.  64 of the 128 games played in round one.  These games are hand-picked to favor 618 area fans in round one.  Anyone can play, but this week is to your advantage.
  
• Week 2:  Once again, 64 games, however it will be all of the games played this week.  If you missed one week, I will let new users join and you will get the lowest true score of week one.  I will review the scores and for those that are valid submissions, I will look for the worst score.  You can get in on week two but you will start from the bottom... but, not at zero points.  But, you will still be able to win the iPod Touch.  If you join and start in week two, you week one score will be 32/64.  
• Week 3: Quarter final round.  All of the games played.  Each game is worth 2 Points.
  
• Week 4: Semifinal round.  All of the games played.  Each game is worth 3 Points.
  
• Week 5: Finals.  Eight games.  Each game is worth 4 Points.  Tie-breakers will be added in the case of a tie after 5 weeks.

• This contest lasts until the playoffs are over.  Each week the standings are carried over and the person with the most points wins.
• This contest is only for fun. No betting or gambling is associated with this contest.
• You must be a registered user to submit an entry.
• Please only one entry per person, do not use multiple usernames to submit more than one entry.
• You can not change your pick for a game after it is made.  However, you can submit in stages.  You do not have to submit all picks at one time.  Pick a game and hit submit and you can come back and it will tell you who you picked and who you still have yet to pick.  Remember, you can not edit the picks.
• You do not have to live in the 618 to win. Just register and you can play too.

• Four Points Per Correct Game Pick.  All 8 games this week are available for picking.
